Keen to break some plates 😀 😀 ??
Imagine having a restaurant experience where you can eat, drink, dance, listen to some live music and break some plates while letting your hair down.
I decided to finally try Attikos Mediterranean Grill situated at the Lifestyle Center Ballito for the first time. This was my first dine in experience during Covid level 2.
My temperature was taken and there was sanitisers on each table , the menu was on a QR code which we could view on our phones. Technology hey 😉
The interior stood out the most – Classy, warm and chic matching the sophisticated sculptures and architecture in Greece.
Below are some of the scrumptious meals with the descriptions below.
Boyta… your selection of three Greek dips served with two pita bread!
Taramosalata – a traditional cod fish roe dip
Xtipiti – a mild spicy whipped feta dip
Attikos Hummus – Tahina and chickpea dip
Olive Tapenade – imported kalamata olive paste
Tzatziki – traditional Greek yoghurt and cucumber dip
Attikos Curry –
A unique, Mediterranean light curry with vegetable sauce base, five king prawns, hake and calamari served with pompadom, basmati rice and sambals… plain, mild or hot!
500g Lamb ribs char-grilled BBQ ‘sticky & sweet’ lamb ribs
The famous Baklava – Layers of phyllo pastry with nuts & syrup.
My favourite !
Ravani – Old favourite, Greek semolina sponge cake soaked in orange syrup & topped with coconut
